

ABOUT JAMES
James was always going to have a passion with all thing's food, born in Venezuela, he was surrounded by rich culture, as well as a great culinary heritage from an early age. Then grew up in Southwest of England which is where he studied his craft.
Earlier on in his career, working with several internationally respected chefs including Raymond Blanc, Gordon Ramsay, Michael Caines, Jason Atherton, Peter Gorton and Andre Garrett.
During a rewarding career of 20 years plus, his CV has taken him to some of the world’s finest cookery schools, luxury hotels and restaurants in the UK and the Middle East.
James has also filmed on two of the BBC’s prime-time cooking shows including Out of the Frying Pan and The Restaurant, as well as having conducted numerous public appearances at high-profile industry events and featured in numerous international publications.
Presenting on camera, audiences ranging in size from a handful at intimate dinner parties to 3,000 people at many BBC Good Food Shows, a competent public speaker with an excellent aptitude for comparing and hosting events.
Also co-founded The Dubai Chef's Collective in 2019, which is a platform open to senior chefs within the UAE, discussing mental health, and offering a whole host of support programmes.
In December 2018 / 2019, he was named as one of the 50 most influential people in food and beverage throughout the Middle East and Africa by Caterer Middle East. Also voted the "Executive Chef of the Year 2019" in the Hotelier Middle East awards. In 2020 he was announced as the PRO Chef of the Year.
James has his own podcast, The Chef JKP Podcast, which can be found on all major podcast listing sites.
James also has his own hospitality consultancy firm - Three21.
This is a business, which focuses on the A to Z of all things within the industry, from opening new restaurant concepts, to partnering with major hotel chains.
