I didn’t set out to become a media personality.
It came naturally, from years spent in kitchens, in teams, in situations where you learn very quickly that what happens behind the scenes matters just as much as what people see!
Over time, that experience moved beyond the kitchen.
I’ve had the opportunity to speak on stages, on television, and within the industry, from the BBC, where I first stepped into the public eye through programmes like The Restaurant and Out of the Frying Pan, to delivering two TEDx talks exploring the connection between food, people, and memory.
I’ve worked as a presenter, hosted live events, and spoken to audiences ranging from intimate rooms to thousands at large-scale food shows.
Alongside this, I’ve been involved in judging panels across the industry, contributed to conversations shaping hospitality today, and continue to work closely with organisations such as the International Taste Institute and as a member of the British Guild of Food Writers.
But for me, speaking has never been about performance.
It’s about sharing what happens, the stories, the pressure, the decisions, the reality of building something that works, and what it really takes to sustain it over time.
Whether it’s on stage, on screen, or in conversation, the approach stays the same:
Keep it real.
Keep it clear.
Make it matter.
Let’s discuss your next event, so we can make it come to life !
